Jeannette van Uffelen (1959) is an author, researcher and behavioural specialist with more than 40 years of international experience. She’s been helping children and adults in crisis care, child protection and vocational training, before she started her own practice. She has made her mark in the field of trauma analysis and is a researcher in her own creative way. “I’m a very curious person. I want to know because I care! But life is too short to take myself too seriously.”
Jeannette is trained in Applied Integral Psychology and completed various Vocational Training courses. She has been working as an entrepreneur in her own practice since 2003. She gives individual sessions, workshops and retreats in The Netherlands, in different countries in Europe and online.
Over the past 10 years she has learned to apply techniques that allow us to replace painful emotions and change perception. She is certified in various methods in this area, like NLP, ERT and eutaptics-Faster EFT and she is a hypnotherapist.
Her greatest passion is teaching people how to apply relaxing techniques themselves, so you can immediately let go of the consequences of trauma. She makes this practically and easy to apply. She had been treating veterans with PTSD in the long-term drug addiction center in Hawaii, using these alternative techniques.
Nowadays a part of the year her focus is on organising retreats, so you can take yourself out of everything familiair, go to a remote place, become quiet and work on yourself. Tapping is a great way to let go of your old programming, but Jeannette offers you some more tools to transform your life. And she gets very practical, as usual. You will learn to do something different and you will go home as a different person. When you want to transform yourself and your life right now … come and join the Your Inner Power Retreats.
Now she’s writing her next book and once in a while shares her stories on her websites.
Would you like to get in touch? Just let us know.
She is also the author of the book ‘Undercurrent’ about life phase policy, which she wrote on behalf of HR Praktijk, a publisher in the field of Human Resources Management in 2007.
About her second book ‘Tap and Let Go’ she says:
“No method is sacred, neither mine. And there is no one-size-fits-all. But there are insights and simple techniques that I want to share with as many people as possible. That’s why I wrote this book.”
